The Suco is located in the northwest of the administrative office of Manatuto. To the east are the Sucos Aiteas and Ailili (Manatuto administrative office), Uma Caduac to the north and Laicore ( Laclo administrative office ) to the southwest . The Northern Lacló , one of the few rivers in North Timor that carries water all year round, flows across the Suco . The northern border river Lago Molos flows into it . A country road runs along the north bank of Northern Laclos and connects Laclo and Manatuto . The villages of Ili-Huli ( Ilihuli ) and I-Un ( Iun ) are located on Iliheu . As far as the Northern Lacló, the western part of the Sucos belongs to the Important Bird Area of the Curi Mountain .

There is no more detailed information on the division so far, as the borders of Iliheu have shifted significantly in recent years. With the 2015 regional reform, the area grew from 16.57 km² to 85.35 km². From the Sucos Lacumesac and Uma Naruc (Laclo Administrative Office) areas came to Iliheu far to the west, including the villages of Rea-Hatu (Rehato) , Licore , Bahadic and Tuha . Iliheu also received an exclave from Suco Hohorai in the west on the north bank of the Lohun . It borders the Suco Hohorai to the north and east and Uma Naruc to the south. To the west is the municipality of Aileu with the Sucos Faturasa and Tulataqueo ( Remexio administrative office ). For this the place Rembor came to Aiteas.

In 2017, the areas and places of Iliheu gained in the west were separated again and reassigned to the Laclo administrative office as the new Suco Laicore. The Aldeias Bahadic , Rea-Hatu and Licore , which previously belonged to Iliheu, are now part of the new Sucos, where the towns of the same name are also located. The Iliheu primary school ( Escola Primaria Iliheu ) is located in Ili-Huli .

In the Suco Iliheu there are now the two Aldeias I-Un and Ili-Huli .
