Incorporated is a mashup album from The Legion of Doom .

History of origin

In 2005 and 2006 the producer duo The Legion of Doom created 14 mash-ups of songs from the genres punk , emo and hardcore . The vocal track of a rapper ( Planet Asia and KRS-One ) was added to two songs . The idea of ​​the project was published on the Internet, but none of the songs had yet been offered because The Legion of Doom was still in negotiations with the rights owners of the songs. In February 2006, the complete album appeared in various P2P networks. In response, and frustrated by the long battle to get it released, The Legion of Doom endorsed the illegal download of the album and supported it through the forum on their website.

Surprisingly, a record label was found that, regardless of the legal situation and the already successful distribution of the album on the Internet, wanted to publish the album regularly. The independent label Illegal Art released a limited edition of 3,000 copies of the album on March 6, 2007, which was only available through the label's own web shop for 10 US dollars. The CD contains all 14 songs in high quality with a cover drawing by Derek Hess.
