Industria Argentina de Micro Automóviles , IAMA for short , was an Argentinian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Buenos Aires company started producing automobiles in 1959. The brand name was Joseso . A plant in Río Gallegos in southern Argentina was at least planned. Production ended in 1960 or 1961. A total of around 200 vehicles were built. Three vehicles still exist.

The only model was a small front-wheel drive car, similar to the BMW 600 and the Fiat 600 Multipla . The two-door body was made of plastic and offered space for four people. The vehicles were 285 cm long, 146 cm wide and 146 cm high. A single cylinder engine with 200 cc displacement and 10  hp output of Villiers Ltd powered vehicles.
