JVA Automóviles Especiales SA is an Argentinian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Jorge Vázquez founded the company in September 1996 in Buenos Aires . In 1997 or 1998 the production of automobiles began. The brand name is JVA . Six vehicles were built in 2000, five in the following year, eight in 2002 and ten in 2003.

The first model to appear was the 550 Spyder, a replica of the Porsche 550 . A modern chassis formed the basis. An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. Initially, there was a choice of a four-cylinder engine from Volkswagen with a displacement of 1600 cc and 70 hp, as well as two Audi engines with a displacement of 1800 cc and 94 hp and 2000 cc and 100 hp.
Another model is the replica of the Maserati A 6 GC 3 Monofaro from the 1950s. A VW engine with a displacement of 1600 cm³ and an output of 85 hp drives the vehicles.
In 2000, the STU coupé , whose engine developed 450 hp, was created as a prototype .
In the following year this model was produced as the Fulgur SP , now with a 600 hp engine. In 2006 this model was only made to order.
In 2003, the replica of the Alfa Romeo 6 C 3000 from 1953 added to the range. Production was limited to six vehicles.
From 2005 there was also a replica of the Alfa Romeo TZ 2 .
In August 2016, the company listed the 550 and Monofaro models on its website .
The auction house Artvalue.com offered a vehicle at an auction in France on April 5, 2005 and expected a sales price of 25,000 to 30,000 euros.
