Horacio Anasagasti & Cia was an Argentinian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Horacio Anasagasti founded the company in Buenos Aires in 1910 . First he imported automobiles from Europe . In 1911 the production of automobiles with built-in engines from France began . The brand name was Anasagasti . Production ended in 1915 because the French engine suppliers could no longer deliver engines due to the First World War . A total of around 30 vehicles were built, two of which still exist.

Anasagasti initially purchased motors from Établissements Ballot . Engines with 12 HP and 15 HP are given , although it is unclear whether these are French tax horsepower or pure engine power in horsepower .
Motors from Picker-Janvier were later used.
Horacio Anasagasti used the first vehicle on September 17, 1911 in the race from Rosario to Córdoba and back to Rosario, but retired due to a mechanical defect. Further races followed.
