Isard Argentina SAICF was an Argentinian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Buenos Aires-based company began producing automobiles in 1958 under licenses from Hans Glas GmbH . The brand name was Isard . In 1963, Los Cedros and its commercial vehicle production were taken over by Studebaker trucks. In 1964 there was an agreement with Nissan for the production of Datsun vehicles, but this was not carried out. Production ended in 1965.

The 300 Sedán corresponded to the Goggomobil as a limousine . A two-cylinder two - stroke engine with a 58 mm bore , 56 mm stroke , 293 cm³ displacement and 15 hp was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels. With a wheelbase of 180 cm, the vehicles were 290 cm long, 128 cm wide and 131 cm high. The curb weight was given as 395 kg.
The successor was the 400 Sedán offered between 1960 and 1961 . It had the same body, but a larger engine with a 67 mm bore, also 56 mm stroke, 394 cc displacement and 18 hp. He was 20 kg heavier.
The 400 Sport Coupé was also available from 1960 to 1961 . Here the engine made 20 hp. This model was 303.5 cm long, 137 cm wide and 123 cm high. The curb weight was given as 440 kg.
Of these three models, 2,864 vehicles were built.
The T 700 , also known as the Royal T-700 , was available as a two-door sedan from 1960 to 1965 and as a two-door station wagon from 1962 to 1964. It corresponded to the Glas Isar . The two-cylinder four-stroke engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear wheels. He made 30 hp from 682 cm³ displacement. With a wheelbase of 200 cm, the vehicles were 342 cm long, 147 cm wide and 138 cm high. 11,946 vehicles were built from this model.
The Súper 1204 was also available from 1964 to 1965 . It corresponded to the Glas 1204 as a two-door sedan. The four-cylinder engine with 72 mm bore, 73 mm stroke and 1189 cm³ displacement made 53 hp. The vehicles had a wheelbase of 210 cm. They were 150 cm wide, 137 cm high and weighed 740 kg.
