Inovce (Hungarian Éralja - until 1907 and 1939–45 Inóc , Russian Іновце / Inowze ) is a municipality in the far east of Slovakia , with 203 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019), which belongs to Okres Sobrance , part of Košický kraj .
geography
The municipality is located in the eastern part of the Vihorlat Mountains on the Inovský creek near the Ukrainian border. The center of the village is at an altitude of 480 m nm and is 19 kilometers from Sobrance .
history
Inovce probably originated at the beginning of the 16th century and was first mentioned in writing in 1567. It belonged to the domain of the Drugeth family with its seat in Homenau . In 1828 there are 34 houses and 251 inhabitants.
The place in Semplin County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary until 1918 and then became part of the newly formed Czechoslovakia . 1939-1945 he was once again part of Hungary as a result of the Slovak-Hungarian War .
