Defending champions in the singles were Tony Roche in the men and Ann Jones in the women. The defending champions were Clark Graebner and Dennis Ralston in the men's doubles, Margaret Smith and Judy Tegart in the ladies doubles and Annette Van Zyl and Frew McMillan in the mixed doubles .
