Defending champions in the singles were Björn Borg for men and Chris Evert for women. In the men's doubles Dick Crealy and Onny Parun were the defending champions , in the women's doubles Chris Evert and Olga Morosowa and in the mixed Martina Navrátilová and Iván Molina .
