The second sail training ship of the Polish Navy called Iskra (pol. Iskra = "spark") is a 1981 to 1982 built Barkentine (three master). It was named after the Polish training ship of the same name , which was used until 1977 .
The hallmark of the second Iskra is the rigging with three different types of sails: barquentines-typical square sails on the jib (front mast) and gaff sails on the main mast (middle mast), but Bermuda sails instead of another, type-specific, gaff sail on the mizzen mast (rear mast). The sequence represents stages in the history of the development of the sail .
