description

The yearbook of the city of Wädenswil conveys the history of Wädenswil in the areas of local history , local history , social coexistence , culture and politics to a broad audience. The far-reaching topic of the articles published in the yearbook can be seen in the list of 24 subject areas covering all previous editions from 1975–2019 ( see here ). As can already be seen in the 2019 yearbook, the inclusion of Schönenberg and Hütten will also expand the content of the yearbook with the enlargement of the city of Wädenswil. From 1975 to 2019 around 740 articles by around 270 authors were created. The main author is Peter Ziegler, who was able to motivate many Wädenswil residents to write articles about their familiar specialty and who have edited them for over 40 years. Therefore, the yearbook of the city of Wädenswil has a uniform appearance as a complete work.
