James H. Anderson

James Hall Anderson (born November 12, 1878 in Milford , Delaware , †  1936 ) was an American politician . Between 1925 and 1929 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Delaware.

Career

Nothing is known about James Anderson's youth and schooling. After studying law and becoming a lawyer, he began to work in this profession. He lived in Dover , the capital of Delaware. Politically, he joined the Republican Party .

In 1924 Anderson was elected lieutenant governor of Delaware alongside Robert P. Robinson . He held this office between 1925 and 1929. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, he no longer appeared politically. He died in 1936 and was buried in Frederica .
