Jari Kurri Trophy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jari Kurri trophy is an ice hockey award given by the Finnish SM-liiga to the best player in the SM-liiga play-offs . It has been awarded since 1994 and was named after Jari Kurri .

In the 2005/06 season, the winner of the trophy was determined once through an SMS vote, in which all fans could take part. In 2007, the award was given for the first time directly after the final game of the play-offs, instead of at the official award ceremony.
