Jason Spevack

Jason Spevack (born July 4, 1997 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor . In addition to being a Canadian citizen, he is also a citizen of the USA .

life and career

Jason Spevack was born in 1997 in Toronto in the Canadian province of Ontario . He began his acting career at the age of five when he appeared in various commercials . He made his acting debut at the age of six in the short films The School , Terminal Venus and Stalker . In 2004, he starred alongside Joey Lawrence and Maggie Lawson in the television movie Love Rules , which aired on ABC Family . This was followed by another appearance in a television film with A Very Married Christmas - Greetings from Santa Claus , as well as two guest appearances in the Canadian crime series 72 Hours: True Crime . In 2005 he starred in the mockumentary film The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico , in Peter and Bobby Farrelly's comedy A Man for a Season , in the fourth episode of the third season of Missing and in the Christmas TV film Crazy for Christmas . In 2006 he landed the role of Kenneth Giles in the neo-noir film The Hollywood Conspiracy . Short appearances on television series followed, including Instant Star , ReGenesis and Mercer Report . In 2007 he starred as the younger Marvin in The Stone Angel . In Sunshine Cleaning he plays Oscar Lorkowski , a little boy who is thrown out of school. For this he received a nomination for the Young Artist Award in the category Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film .

In 2009 he had a guest appearance on the youth series Jared 'Coop' Cooper - High School Attorney as Noah and the following year he starred as Howie Kemp , friend of the main character Ramona Quimby , played by Joey King , in Sister Hearts - Ramona's Wild World . In 2010 he got the dubbing role of ten year old Daniel "Dan" Henderson in the children's series Dino Dan . For this role, he and the rest of the cast won a Young Artist Award for Outstanding Cast in a TV Series , and Spevack was also nominated for Best Actor in a TV Series. He also had two guest appearances in 2011 in the mystery series Being Human , a US-Canadian adaptation of the British series of the same name. In 2012 he starred in Jesus Henry Christ in the role of the main character Henry James Hermin , a ten-year-old boy who is looking for his biological father .
