Jessica Jislová took part in international competitions for the first time in 2011 as part of the Junior World Championships , but did not reach the top ten. At the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti next year, she did better. She finished seventh in the sprint and improved to fourth in the pursuit. At the summer biathlon world championships of the same year, she won the bronze medal with the mixed relay in the junior race. This result could be improved to the silver medal in 2013 and to the gold medal in 2014 . At these Summer Biathlon World Championships, she also achieved fifth place in the sprint and third place in the subsequent junior pursuit race. Jislová competed in the IBU Cup races in Obertilliach for the first time in 2013 and, after the turn of the year, in the 2013/14 Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof . In the 2015/16 season , she started regularly in the IBU Cup and reached 19th place in the overall ranking. In 2016 she took part in the biathlon world cup races again and achieved her first world cup points with a 34th place in the sprint in Canmore . At the subsequent World Championships in Oslo she was sixth with de season, while she just missed the points in the sprint and pursuit. In the 2016/17 season Jessica Jislová stood on the podium for the first time, she reached third place in Pyeongchang with Eva Puskarčíková , Lucie Charvátová and Gabriela Koukalová in the relay race.
In the season 2017/18 Jislová started with a tenth place in single-mixed relay in Östersund . In the first individual race of the season, the individual, she was 61st, after a 91st place in the sprint, she did not qualify for the pursuit. In Hochfilzen , she just missed the pursuit with a 61st place in the sprint. In Annecy , she was able to achieve her first World Cup points since the Canmore sprint in 2016. She finished 24th in the sprint and 40th in the Pursuit. In Antholz she achieved her best placement in the World Cup with a 15th place in the sprint and also achieved the points in the sprint with a 32nd place.
At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she finished 23rd in both the sprint and the pursuit. She was twelfth with the season.
At the World Cup in Kontiolahti she was able to achieve a result in the points with a 22nd place. In the overall ranking she reached the 51st place and in the sprint rankings 45th place.
