TUI Airlines Belgium NV (previously Jetairfly ) is a Belgian charter and scheduled airline based in Brussels and based at Brussels-Zaventem Airport . It is a subsidiary of TUI and a member of the TUI Airlines group .
history
Jetairfly was founded in March 2004 under the name TUI Airlines Belgium and took over most of the flights of the insolvent Sobelair . The TUI subsidiary initially operated charter flights under the company name Jetair . Due to a new marketing campaign by TUI, it changed its name to Jetairfly in November 2005.
In spring 2012, the full integration of the Moroccan sister company Jet4you was initiated, whose fleet and route network were taken over.
In March 2013, Jetairfly took delivery of the first of two Embraer 190s on order , followed by a Boeing 787-8 in spring 2014 .
As it became known in May 2015, in the future all airlines of the group of companies (except for Corsair International , which is to be sold) will appear under the new uniform name Tui . The change was made on the one hand for marketing reasons , on the other hand, personnel and aircraft can be deployed so easily within the entire group.
Destinations
From its home airport Brussels-Zaventem over 70 holiday destinations in the Mediterranean , the Red Sea , the Caribbean , the Canary Islands and North Africa are served. The airports in Liège , Brussels-Charleroi , Ostend-Bruges and Antwerp are used as additional bases .
