Jochen Bendel

Jochen Bendel (born November 18, 1967 in Alzenau ) is a German radio and television presenter as well as advertising and voice actor . He became known with the quiz show Ruck Zuck , which he hosted from 1992 to 2005.

Career

During his school days, some of which he spent in the Catholic boarding school Kilianeum in Würzburg, Bendel gained his first experience as a voice actor for commercials and radio plays . He gained his first radio experience in 1988 at Radio Primavera in Aschaffenburg . His radio career began in 1992 a. a. in the Hessischer Rundfunk and Bayern 3 (broadcast Super 3 ).

The synchronization of films and series (including South Park , Blade: Trinity , Mr. and Mrs. Smith , Kiki's small delivery service , Das Zauberkarussell , Law & Order ) and his work as a spokesperson for commercials (including Müller Drink , McDonald’s , Media-Markt , Wagner pizza ) are still part of his work today.

Bendel has a classical music and singing education .

Bendel's television career began with the music magazine POP , which he hosted on Tele 5 from 1990 onwards and for which he received the gold “Best International Music Program” award at the Midem music fair in Cannes in 1991 . As part of this program, he appeared in skits as the fictional character "Doctor Ben". He took up this figure again in 1993, for the moderation of the program Radio Bong on Radio Gong . Bendel's comedy show Vitamin B was canceled by RTL 2 in 1995 after only two broadcasts. In 1997 he was the moderator and game director of the game show Ca $ hman , also on RTL 2. In 2001, he moderated the advice magazine Leben & Wohnen for tm3 . Bendel's TV presence was then determined by Big Brother for three years . His first own late night TV show was Big Brother Nachtfalke from 2003 to 2005 . From 2005 to 2006 he was on RTL II in the sixth season of Big Brother co-host next Oli.P . Bendel moderated 2007 also Windows Vista - podcasts for Microsoft . In the same year he temporarily withdrew from the television business.

Bendel is a hobby chef and has appeared on VOX in the cooking programs Unter Volldampf (2008), The Perfect Celebrity Dinner (2007, 2011), The Cooking Arena (2008, 2011), The Celebrity Cooking Duel (2009), Grill den Henssler (2013 ) and Celebrity Shopping Queen (2013) as candidates. At the end of 2011 he organized cooking courses in Munich. In January 2014, Bendel took part in the RTL show Ich bin ein Star - Get me out of here! part and took third place. In November 2016 he participated in the Küchenschlacht radio station ZDF along with five other celebrities led by Johann Lafer part and was the winner.

In July 2014 Bendel released his first single How do I come to Mallorca now? . Since August 2014 he and Melissa Khalaj have been presenting Promi Big Brother Late Night LIVE on sixx . In 2017 he moderated Celebrity Big Brother together with Jochen Schropp . In 2015 he also hosted Big Brother on sixx. He lives in Munich and has been married since August 2016 .
