JKP GmbH & Co. KG (short for Jochen's small record company ) is a German publisher based in Düsseldorf . JKP Verwaltungs GmbH is the general partner of the limited partnership . Jochen Hülder was the managing director of the company until his death in 2015. The company is the own and independent label of the band Die Toten Hosen .

Company history

Jochen Hülder has been gaining experience in the music industry since the 1970s. First he was in charge of the folk singer Werner Lämmerhirt , later the music groups Hoelderlin , Lunch Break , German American Friendship , The Economic Miracle , Palais Schaumburg , Fehlfarben and a Bob Marley concert. He organized the ZK farewell tour and has worked with the Düsseldorf punk rockers since the band Die Toten Hosen was founded. In 1990 Hülder founded the concert agency KKT (Kikis Small Tour Service) together with Christian "Kiki" Ressler, who has also been associated with the band from the very beginning . Since 1989 Hülder was also managing director of TOT Musik GmbH and RKV (Richard's small shipping company) . For all companies, including HKM (Heike small music publisher) and HNKAKBSM (Heike's even smaller, but not a bit worse music publisher) were Campino , Andreas von Holst , Andreas Meurer , Michael Breitkopf and Wolfgang Rohde equal limited partners .

JKP has been known in its current name since October 1994. The company Kauf Mich GmbH in Trostberg , with managing director Wolfgang Huber, has taken over the dispatch of merchandise products , sound carriers and concert tickets .

In addition to his work for the band Die Toten Hosen (→ Die Toten Hosen / Discography ), the label looked after other artists, such as Ohrbooten , TV Smith , Funny van Dannen , Antilopen Gang and Wolfgang Rohde's music group Wölli & the band of the year , which im Year 2011 was founded. Known employees

  • Jochen Hülder (born October 18, 1957 - January 15, 2015) was the band's manager and managing director of the company.
  • Bollock (born December 31, 1965; † May 16, 2000) was a roadie , friend of the band and helped organize the concerts from the start.
  • Uwe Faust (born February 11, 1956, † October 29, 2009) was the band supervisor and former roadie and mixer of the band. Based on Goethe's tragedy, he also called himself Dr. Fist.   • Patrick Orth , managing director of JKP and responsible for the website and “girls for everything”.
  • Noppa Schütter takes care of the organization behind the stage at the concerts. As part of the eat-or-die tour in 2004, he filmed the audience for the song You'll Never Walk Alone at almost all concerts . The band sent a cut to Liverpool FC to show the club the popularity of the piece in Germany.
  • Kathleen Zabel is Michael Breitkopf's guitar roadie.
