Johann Georg Wilhelm Wilhelmy

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Johann Georg Wilhelm Wilhelmy (also Wilhelm ) (* 1781 ; † July 17, 1858 ) was a German organ builder in Stade . After the death of his father Georg Wilhelm Wilhelmy in 1806, he took over his workshop and worked almost exclusively in the organ landscape between the Elbe and Weser rivers . The son consciously called himself Wilhelm , based on the earlier naming of the Wilhelm family in order to differentiate himself by name from his father.
