Jonathan Zwikel (born July 16, 1975 in Brussels ) is a former Belgian - French ice hockey player .

Career

Jonathan Zwikel began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of the Dragons de Rouen , for whose professional team he was active in the top French league from 1993 to 1995 . In both years he and his teams won the French championship title straight away . Then the center moved within the league to Hockey Club de Reims , with which he was also champion in 2000 and 2002. As the club due to high debt resolved had, joined the Belgian-born to 2002/03 the IF Sundsvall from the Allsvenskan , the Swedish second league on, but finished the season at EV Duisburg in the second hockey Bundesliga . For France , Zwikel took part in the junior division in the U18 Junior B European Championship in 1993 and the U20 Junior B World Championship in 1995 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2002 , 2003 and 2007 as well as at the A World Championships in 1997 , 1998 , 2000 , 2004 , 2008 and 2009 . He also competed for France at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and 2002 in Salt Lake City .
