Jonte Volkmann

Jonte Volkmann (born December 19, 1990 in Minden ) is a German actor and speaker . He is currently a permanent member of the ensemble at the Nordharzer Städtebundtheater in Halberstadt / Quedlinburg .

biography

Volkmann grew up in Minden. From the age of 15 he was a member of the ensemble of the Porta Westfalica open-air theater . There he was in numerous productions (e.g. as Jack Merridew in Lord of the Flies or Abraxas in The Little Witch ) on various stages in and around Minden . At the age of 17, he and friends founded an independent drama group with which he played six pieces in three years (including Die Physiker as Newton , or Don Carlos as Duke of Alba ). Since 2010 he has been a member of the improvisational theater group Spek Spek from Kleinenbremen .

Volkmann was on stage in Vlotho in the solo theater piece “Mein Hamlet” and a “ Peer Gynt ” adaptation (each directed by Simon Niemann) .

Volkmann completed his acting training under the direction of Herbert Olschok at the Theater Academy Western Pomerania . He was able to gain experience on the stages of the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne from the first year of his studies . He played "Michael Kuppisch" in Brussig's "Sonnenallee" on the open-air stage of the Usedom Harbor Festival , "Igelmann" in Ensikat's "Hase und Igel" or "Frankaxel" in Zeller's "Triumph der Provinz" in the children's theater.

In the 2016/17 season he was an ensemble member of the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne, among others as Dr. Fritz Hagendorn in Kästner's "Three Men in Snow" and as "August" in Bauersima's "norway.today".

Since the 2017/18 season, Jonte Volkmann has been a permanent member of the acting ensemble of the Nordharzer Städtebundtheater .

Volkmann is also active as a speaker in a wide variety of projects (including at the audio book publisher Fly Glass).
