Julian Krieg (born July 18, 1987 in Gummersbach ) is a German handball player .

Career

The 1.98 meter tall right back player started playing handball in his hometown at VfL Gummersbach . In 2007, the left-hander switched to the third division club SG Schalksmühle-Halver , where he became a top scorer. For the 2010/11 season he signed with the Swiss first division club Pfadi Winterthur , with whom he won the European Cup Winners' Cup (2010/11), the EHF Cup (2011/12 and 2012/13) and the EHF Europe Cup (2013/14 and 2014 / 15) participated or is participating. In the 2013/14 season, Krieg was the top scorer in National League A with 212 goals in 34 games. In the 2015/16 season, he moved to the German Bundesliga club HBW Balingen-Weilstetten . He has been under contract with second division ASV Hamm-Westfalen since summer 2017 .
