Marvin Lier (born September 8, 1992 in Zurich ) is a Swiss handball player . He plays in the handball Bundesliga at SG Flensburg-Handewitt .

Career

Lier played for TV Endingen before moving to Pfadi Winterthur in 2012 . He played regularly in the EHF Cup with scouts . In season 2018/19 the 1.85 m wide was left wing scorer of the National League A . In October 2019 he switched to the German champions SG Flensburg-Handewitt on loan for three months , where he is supposed to replace Hampus Wanne, who is out on long term due to an operation.

Marvin Lier has been part of the Swiss national handball team since 2013 , for which he has scored 139 goals in 60 international matches .
