Köditz (Königsee)

Köditz is a district of the town of Königsee in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

history

Between October 1, 1923 and July 31, 1924, Unterköditz and Oberköditz were merged to form Köditz for the first time , but later separated again. On July 1, 1950, the municipality of Köditz was created again through the amalgamation of the previously independent municipalities.

On January 22, 1994, Köditz was incorporated into the city of Königsee and on December 31, 2012, it became part of the city of Königsee-Rottenbach, which was renamed Königsee on January 1, 2019.
