The manor in the village was owned by Mr. v. Holleben from Dresden , who leased it to the farmer Richard Roepert . According to the agreement of the victorious powers, the estate was expropriated after the Second World War and made public property. In the beginning there was an agricultural winter school in the castle , later the operation was subject to the development of agriculture in East Germany.
