Cabinet D'Alema I

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The D'Alema I cabinet ruled Italy from October 21, 1998 to December 22, 1999. In 1996, the center-left L'Ulivo had won the parliamentary elections, after which the Prodi I cabinet took over until October 1998 and then resigned because of the departure of the Rifondazione Comunista . With the remaining coalition partners, Prime Minister Massimo D'Alema formed his first cabinet. This was followed in December 1999 by the D'Alema II cabinet due to a cabinet reshuffle .
