Cabinet Fanfani VI
The Fanfani VI cabinet ruled Italy from April 17, 1987 to July 28, 1987. After the resignation of the second government of Prime Minister Bettino Craxi , Amintore Fanfani was charged with forming a new government. The ministers were members of the Democrazia Cristiana or were non-party. However, after the swearing in, the Fanfani VI cabinet did not gain the confidence of parliament . Early parliamentary elections were then held on June 14, 1987 . The Fanfani VI cabinet remained in office until the following Goria cabinet was sworn in on July 28, 1987. It was Fanfani's last government.
