The Eichel II cabinet formed the state government of Hesse from April 5, 1995 to April 7, 1999 .

After the state elections in 1995 , Hans Eichel was re-elected Prime Minister on April 5, 1995 with the votes of the red-green majority. The ministers were sworn in on the same day.
