The first Nehru cabinet on January 31, 1950

The Nehru I cabinet was formed by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in India after independence from the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947 . It remained in office until April 15, 1952, when it was replaced by the Nehru II cabinet .
