Cold Feet is a German-Austrian feature film from 2018 by Wolfgang Groos with Heiner Lauterbach , Emilio Sakraya and Sonja Gerhardt in the leading roles. The premiere took place on November 21, 2018 at the Lünen Kinofest , where the film was shown as the opening film. The German theatrical release took place on January 10, 2019, the Austrian on the following day.

Denis is a young homeless and unemployed petty criminal. To settle his debts, he breaks into the remote villa of the wealthy entrepreneur Raimund Groenert, who is in a wheelchair after a stroke and cannot speak. There Denis meets Raimund's granddaughter Charlotte, a budding police officer who temporarily looks after her grandfather until a professional carer takes over the task.

Charlotte thinks Denis is the new nurse, Denis lets himself into the game of confusion, especially since a heavy snowstorm prevents Denis from fleeing. In contrast to Charlotte, Raimund saw through Denis immediately, but since he cannot speak, he has to use other means to defend himself against the crook. A cat-and-mouse game begins between Denis and Raimund, in which Denis has to face not only his criminal involvement but also the nursing challenges and his growing affection for Charlotte.

“The simple mix-up comedy relies on slapstick, stale jokes and shoddy humor, but is quickly staged and appeals with its slapstick interludes. The actors enjoy their one-dimensional characters. However, the bite and any form of real border crossing is missing. "
