The canton of Massy is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Palaiseau in the department of Essonne and in the region of Île-de-France .
history
As part of the cantonal reorganization at the beginning of 2015, the canton was newly formed from the cantons of Massy-Est and Massy-Ouest , which together comprised the city of Massy , and the municipality of Chilly-Mazarin , which was previously the capital of the now dissolved canton of Chilly-Mazarin .
