The canton of Brétigny-sur-Orge is a French administrative unit in the Arrondissement of Palaiseau , in the department of Essonne and in the region of Île-de-France ; its main town is Brétigny-sur-Orge . Michel Pouzol ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2008 .
