The canton of La Ferté-Alais was a French constituency in the arrondissement of Étampes , in the department of Essonne and in the region of Île-de-France until 2015 ; its main town was La Ferté-Alais . Caroline Parâtre ( UMP ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2010 to 2015 .

The canton La Ferté-Alais was 110.22 km² and had 23,832 inhabitants (2006). Its mean height was 72 meters, between 47 meters in Itteville and 156 meters in Mondeville .
