The canton of Viry-Châtillon is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Évry in the department of Essonne and in the region of Île-de-France ; its administrative seat is in Viry-Châtillon . Paul da Silva (first PS , then PG ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 2008 .
