The Canton Limours was 2015 a French constituency in the district Palaiseau , in the department of Essonne and the region Ile-de-France ; its main place was Limours . Nicolas Schoettl (first DVD , now NC ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2009 to 2015 .

The canton Limours was 101.58 km² and had 22,467 inhabitants ( as of 1999 ). It was on average 141 meters above sea level, between 59 meters in Fontenay-lès-Briis and 178 meters in Pecqueuse .
