Briiss-sous-Forges is located about 30 kilometers southwest of Paris in the Hurepoix landscape and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gometz-la-Ville in the north, Janvry in the north and northeast, Fontenay-lès-Briis in the east, Courson-Monteloup in the southeast, Vaugrigneuse in the south and south-west, Forges-les-Bains in the west and Limours in the north-west.

The A10 autoroute runs through the municipality (without a connection) .
