Villejust Town Hall

Villejust is a French commune with 2,385 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . Villejust belongs to the Arrondissement Palaiseau and the canton Les Ulis (until 2015: canton Villebon-sur-Yvette ). The inhabitants are called Villejustiens .

geography

Villejust is located about 21 kilometers southwest of Paris in the Hurepoix landscape on the Rouillon river , a tributary of the Yvette . Villejust is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villebon-sur-Yvette in the north, Saulx-les-Chartreux in the east, Nozay in the south, Marcoussis in the southwest and Les Ulis in the west.

The A10 autoroute runs through the municipality .
