Vaugrigneuse is about 32 kilometers southwest of Paris . Vaugrigneuse is surrounded by the neighboring communities Briis-sous-Forges in the north and northeast, Courson-Monteloup in the east, Saint-Maurice-Montcouronne in the south and southeast, Le Val-Saint-Germain in the south, Angervilliers in the southwest, Forges-les-Bains in the west and northwest.
The A10 autoroute runs along the northern edge of the municipality .
