Courson-Monteloup is a French municipality with 572 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . Courson-Monteloup belongs to the Arrondissement Palaiseau and the canton of Dourdan (until 2015: canton of Limours ). The inhabitants are called Montelupins .
geography
Courson-Monteloup is located around 32 kilometers south-southwest of Paris . The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Courson-Monteloup is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Briis-sous-Forges in the north, Fontenay-lès-Briis in the east, Saint-Maurice-Montcouronne in the south and Vaugrigneuse in the west.
