Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Baurmeister (also: Bauermeister , born January 29, 1787 in Rotenburg an der Fulda , † September 18, 1840 in Cologne ) was a Prussian major general and commander of the 15th Landwehr Brigade.

Military career

Baurmeister attended the 1803 University of Göttingen and joined the end of the year as an ensign in the Grenadier Guards of Kurhessische army one. On October 17, 1826, Baurmeister received the Order of the Red Eagle, IV class, and on June 15, 1828, the Service Cross . On March 30, 1832 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel and was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Guelph Order in mid-November 1832 . He was promoted to colonel on March 30, 1834, with the leadership of the 38th Infantry Regiment and appointed master builder on March 30, 1835 as regimental commander. In this capacity he received the Order of the Red Eagle III on January 18, 1839. Class with a bow.
