Karl Heinrich Endell

Karl Heinrich Endell (* 1776 in Schwedt a. O. , Uckermark ; † May 1843 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was a Prussian government councilor and Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder) (1810-1816).

Endell was elected Lord Mayor in 1810 by the city council. Before that, the professor at the Frankfurt Brandenburg University of Frankfurt, Karl Wilhelm Solger, had rejected the office after a successful election.

During his tenure, the administrative district of Frankfurt was established, the administration of which, like the higher regional court , was located in the city. In 1811 the university in Frankfurt was closed and moved to Breslau .

Endell was buried on May 28, 1843 in the city's Old Cemetery.
