Smalianwinkel

Today's Smalianwinkel, which leads from Philipsbornstrasse to Vahrenwalder Strasse in the Vahrenwald district of Hanover , was originally laid out in the early industrialization at the time of the Kingdom of Hanover in 1854 at the gates of the royal seat of Hanover and was simply called "Second Street". In the late founding years of the German Empire , the traffic route became part of Göhrdestrasse in 1897. It was not until the post-war period that the Smalianwinkel got its current name, according to the Hanover address book from the following year 1966 to honor a “well-deserved schoolboy and author of academic papers and textbooks for higher education institutions”.
