Karsten Lauritzen (born October 14, 1983 in Løngstør ) is a Danish politician of the Venstre party and was Minister for Taxes from 2014 to 2019 .
Life
Karsten Lauritzen completed his studies in political and administrative sciences with a master’s degree in 2014 . Since 2002 he has been a member of the Young Liberals, the youth organization of the Venstre party; from 2007 he was a member of a working group of the Folketing , from 2011 to 2015 he was a member of an assembly of the parliament on the OSCE , and in 2011 of a group for deliberations on matters related to NATO .
Lauritzen was spokesman for his party on immigration and integration from 2007 to 2011 and for legal issues from 2011 to 2015, during the same period he was a member of the parliamentary committees on law, defense, spatial planning and gender equality. On June 28, 2014 he was appointed Minister for Taxation for the Lars Løkke Rasmussen II cabinet. He has this position in the Cabinet Lars Løkke Rasmussen III held
