Morten Østergaard
Morten Østergaard (born June 17, 1976 in Aarhus ) is a Danish politician from Det RadISCHE Venstre (RV).
Life
The son of a cardiologist and a lecturer studied political science at the University of Aarhus from 1997 to 2006 after attending Jellebakkeskolen, Conval High School and Risskov High School . In 2001 he also took up a position as marketing director at Dafolo A / S publishing house in Aarhus, where he worked until 2005.
Østergaard appeared several times as a candidate of the RV for the Folketing . Between 2002 and 2005 he was vice chairman.
In the Folketing elections in 2005 he was elected a member of the Folketing and represented the constituency of Århus Amtskreds there until November 2007 . During this time he became a member of the board of directors in 2006 and vice-chairman of the RV parliamentary group in the Folketing in 2007 . In the general election in 2007 he was re-elected and represents the constituency since Østjyllands Stork Reds .
Of 3 October 2011 to 3 February 2014 he was Research Minister in the Cabinet Thorning-Schmidt I and from 3 February to September 2, 2014 Minister of Taxes and of 2 September 2014 to 28 June 2015 Minister of Economy and Interior in the Thorning-Schmidt II cabinet .
