The Kazakh national basketball team for women is the selection of Kazakh women basketball players that the Kazakhstan Basketball Federation represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest successes were the sixth places at the Asian Championships in 1994, 1995, 2001 and 2013. In 1992 the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In November 2013, the team was ranked 49th in the world rankings for women .
