The women's basketball Asian Championship 1976 (officially: 1976 Asian Championship for Women ), the sixth women's basketball Asian Championship , took place between November 2 and 12, 1976 in Hong Kong , which hosted the championship for the first time. The winner was the Chinese national basketball team , which won the Asian women's championship unbeaten when it first participated.
