The Hong Kong national basketball team for women is the selection of Hong Kong women basketball players that the China Hong Kong Basketball Association represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was the fifth places at the Asian Championships in 1972, 1974, 1978, 1992 and 1994. In 1957 the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In November 2013, the team was ranked 58th in the world rankings for women .
