Kasbach is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Langschlag in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 22 building areas with 9,936 m² and 3 gardens on 94 m² in the cadastral community of Kasbach , in 1989/1990 there were 22 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 57 and in 2009/2010 there were 35 buildings on 54 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 165 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 99 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 159 hectares and 104 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 155 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 105 hectares. Kasbach's average soil climate number is 17.4 (as of 2010).
