Kate Roberts (born June 20, 1983 in Bloemfontein ) is a former South African triathlete and two-time Olympian (2008, 2012).

Career

Kate Roberts started biathlon at the age of 15 and switched to triathlon two years later.

2008 Summer Olympics

In 2001 she started her first triathlon and in 2008 she took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing, where she finished 32nd.

She is four times African short distance champion (2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011).

2012 Summer Olympics

In addition to Gillian Sanders and Richard Murray , she was able to qualify again for a starting place at the Olympic Games in 2012 after 2008, where she finished 22nd after a fall on her bike in London.

At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014, she was second in the relay team.

Kate Roberts has not appeared internationally since 2014.
