Katharina Schubert (born November 26, 1963 in Wiesbaden ) is a German actress .

Life

Katharina Schubert, daughter of the actor couple Jürgen Schmidt and Rosemarie Schubert, trained as an actress at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . Her first engagements took her to the Alte Schauspielhaus Stuttgart and the Staatstheater Hannover , but she was also on stage in the Little Comedy Munich .

In 1988 she made her film debut with Wolfgang Glücks Münchhausen's last love at the side of Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff . She became known to a broad television audience through numerous roles in TV series such as A man stands his wife , Three with a heart or Da comes Kalle . In 2009 she played the leading role in the ARD early evening series One for all - women can do it better than Lilli Lemcke.

Schubert had been married to her fellow actor Lars Gärtner since 2007, and they divorced in 2014.
